I am a cognitive psychologist who studies visual perception, attention, and memory. In my research, I use a combination of behavioral methods and eye tracking to examine how environmental regularities influence our perception, attention, and memory for visual information.
I am currently an assistant professor at Millsaps College, where I teach classes in cognitive psychology and neuroscience. I previously completed postdoctoral fellowships at Texas A&M University with Dr. Brian Anderson and the University of Toronto with Dr. Jay Pratt, and completed my Ph.D. at the University of Notre Dame with Dr. James Brockmole.
I am also a former organizer for the Object Perception, Attention, and Memory (OPAM) conference. OPAM is a satellite conference of the Psychonomic Society’s annual meeting, and provides an excellent opportunity for graduate students, postdocs, and other early career researchers to present their research.
